Berger, Fred E.
Between 1936 and 1939, Berger served as school superintendent at Glenfield, ND. From 1939 until the end of World War II he served as an education advisor to the Civilian Conservation Corps and then as an administrator for several Red Cross programs. Since the fall of 1946, Berger was associated with the University of Minnesota in the following roles: 1946-52: General Extension Division and Department of Continuing Education; 1952: Director of the Department of Continuing Education and in 1970: retired as Professor Emeritus.
While Fred Berger's civic and university contributions are too numerous to mention, it should be noted that he has been very active in the VCSC Alumni Association, organizing reunions in both the Minneapolis and Phoenix areas.
