A 1948 graduate of Valley City State College, MR. Pedersen is presently serving as Director of Health, Physical Education, Athletics and Safety for Fargo Public Schools. He completed his Masters Degree in Physical Education in 1954 at Colorado State University. Mr. Pedersen is known as the father of wrestling for giving the sport its start while coaching at Williston, ND. In 1952 he was named High School Coach of the Year and in 1977 was named Athletic Director of the Year. Mr. Pedersen is known for his superior organization and served as manager fore several statewide high school athletic tournaments.
