WHY SHOULD I SUPPORT VCSU BY MAKING A GIFT THROUGH THE FACULTY AND STAFF GIVING CAMPAIGN?
Giving is a personal decision and our individual reasons for contributing are many. But we have a least one common purpose – to support the reason we’re all here – our students! Employees are the heart of Valley City State University. Every day, you make a difference at VCSU by sharing your ideas, talents, and expertise. Your participation in the Faculty & Staff Giving Campaign is just one way that you can join together with your colleagues to show your support for the university and make VCSU even stronger.

72 percent of VCSU employees gave through the Faculty and Staff Campaign last year. There are over 15 funds you can choose from to directly support your passions anywhere at VCSU. Any gift amount, even as little as $5, counts toward participation for your department. Take advantage of the opportunity and unite with your peers to make a difference today.

A high faculty/staff giving percentage is an endorsement by employees that the University is a worthy place to work for and deserving of their financial investment. Faculty and staff participation also plays a major role in academic rankings and the University’s overall reputation.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE?
Gifts of $5 or more will count for participation in the campaign. Participation is truly our number one goal each year.

MAY I DESIGNATE MY GIFT TO ANY AREA OF CAMPUS?
Yes, you can designate your gift to any approved accounts held in the VCSU Foundation (V-500, Century Club, Annual Fund, or Friends groups)

HOW DOES PAYROLL DEDUCTION WORK?
Payroll deduction is one of the most convenient ways to make a gift. By completing the payroll deduction form linked above or online, you can specify the amount you would like deducted from each paycheck, the start date and the area to receive your gift.

HOW CAN I MAKE A GIFT?
Making a gift is quick and easy! Go to our online gift form or complete the form above and return it to the VCSU Foundation Office. Gifts can be made via check, credit card, automatic withdrawal from bank account or through payroll deduction.

I ALREADY MADE A GIFT THIS YEAR; DO I HAVE TO MAKE ANOTHER GIFT TO BE A PARTICIPANT?
Thank you for your gift! Any contribution made to the VCSU Foundation during the fiscal year (July 1 – June 30) makes you a participant.

RECOGNITION AND INCENTIVES

Your name will be included in our donor edition published in October of each year.
All donors that make their donation or pledge by December 15 to the VCSU Foundation, will receive a free logoed gift.
All faculty and staff members who give $50 or more by December 15, will be entered in a weekly drawing for a $50 Bookstore gift card. Drawings will be held each Wednesday of the campaign.
Offices with 100% participation in the campaign by December 18, will be delivered a coffee break treat.
Faculty and staff that increase their payroll deduction or start a new payroll deduction by December 18, you will be entered into a drawing for a reserved parking spot for a year.
